Kostas Murkudis is a man of many talents. Besides having his own lines of arty urban menswear and women’s wear, the Berlin-based designer has also contributed to fashion exhibitions at art fairs such as the Florence Biennale and Art Basel and has created sneakers for Adidas and even phone sleeves for Nokia. Next up? A delicious line of rainbow and metallic stack-heeled platforms and sandals called flip*flop Murkudis. They’re inspired by sky-high Chinese imperial boots from the nineteenth century. We’re particularly excited about the EVA sole—just perfect for discoing your way into spring.

I love the sandal as well as the design concept.......it brings to mind those glorious platforms from the 60's and 70's.
