Shorts, those warm weather essentials, are everywhere for fall. In chunky wool or covered in shimmering sequins, they offer a playful take on the tomboy trend.

Viewing the featured looks has given me a whole new outlook on the "shorts thing." Tomboy is not a description that I would apply, as I find the looks very feminine, especially when worn with tights and a nice bootie. Then there is the sequined short that adds that instant touch of panache for a night out. I'm partial to looks one, two and four.....the gray with colorful shoes makes for a stylish look. I look forward to giving them a "test run" in the fall.
