In recent years, we've seen as increase in stylish satin shoes. I'm sure we can all remember THOSE satin wedding shoes that the maids of honor and bridesmaids had to have dyed to match their dress. Today's crop, offers are variety of chic styles as well and vibrant colors. I'm totally on board, though I am, as always, drawn to those with a little extra "flair" such as that glorious, flower embellished pair in picture eight. Now, for the satin dresses....I personally prefer a "sturdier" satin, or a draped look, like those featured here. The lightweight satin is a lot less forgiving, and I don't like that wrinkled, bunched up look after you've sat for a while. I find the draped styles ideal, as the fabric is looser, and while it might wrinkle a bit, you can still look fresh and crisp.
