"Say it Ain't So!"
Lindsey Lohan's role at Emanuel Ungaro has been controversial from the start - and now it could be all over.
The appointment of the actress as artistic designer to the fashion house last season divided the fashion world and contributed to the departure of then designer Esteban Cortezar. In September the first collection that she consulted on met with a less-than-rapturous response from the press, and rumour has it that buyers were even less impressed.
Now whispers are flying that the two men at the head of the company are battling over whether Lohan should stay or go. Rumours suggest that chairmain Asim Abdullah would like to remove Lindsay from her post sooner rather than later as the move seems to have back-fired. While CEO Mounir Moufarrige, who was responsible for bringing Lohan on board in the first place, wants her to remain.
While Lindsay's future at Ungaro hangs in the balance, one thing seems to be certain - the Spring 2010 collection is unlikely to be flying off the shelves.

My hope for Lindsey and others who struggle with the same issues, is that they will turn their lives around and find the inner peace that they seek.
