While he maintains his title as Executive Creative Director for COACH, Reed Krakoff has branched out on his own with a line of clothing and accessories that is instantly appealing. I can imagine that this venture is one of great liberation, as COACH is an established brand unto itself, which appears is based much on it's "logo presentation," and doesn't allow much in the way of latitude for one with a vast creative vision. Given a choice between the two, my preference is Reed Krafkoff's elegant, classic and "city chic" pieces. I look forward to the future collections of the "designing Creative Director."
