Alber Elbaz is, in my opinion, the "king" of "elegant chic." His stunning designs are at once, feminine, sexy and classic. The Lanvin design aesthetic is not one based on trends, but a never wavering collection of swoon-worthy offerings which appeals to varied tastes. When I look at the pieces, I envision those days of a bygone era when one went on "holiday" to French Riviera or some other equally chic destination. I don't expect that we will ever see edgy, studded pieces from Lanvin, which is fine.....make mine chic.
