This particular boot, designed by brothers Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2, appears in the current issue of Marie Claire magazine along with a brief article explaining the concept behind it's creation.
Says Dan, "Dean noticed that old granny pioneer-style lace-up boots looked like ice skates, so we put blades on them to make them sexy skating boots. At first no one would produce them for fear that someone would break their neck, but their as stable as stilettos."
While, they're quite interesting, they still appear a little tricky as far and walking is concerned. Though it's likely that they will be readily embraced by a few daring ladies....both Lady Gaga and Nicki Minaj come to mind. I'll keep an eye out!
