The Full Figured Fashion Week is coming back to New York, from June 16th to the 19th: an event that unites the whole curvy world. Gwen DeVoe, creator and producer, after the success of past editions declares: “American plus size women want fashionable clothing, this will be a window for those that love curves”.

Last year more than a thousand women from all over the country and journalist from around the world took part in the event. This year the event promises even more: a trip between fashion, runways, models, shopping, events and workshops all strictly curvy. During the closing evening there will be a show of the collections of thirteen among designers, stores and sellers: Sweetooth Couture, Evie Foster, Jill Designs Alexander, Curvysta, Curvaceous Boutique, Peluche Boutique, Vicki Vi, Margaux Couture, La'Dan's Closet, The Queen Grace Collection and Ashaki Designs Charles. Work is underway on the third Full Figured Fashion Week in New York – three days (16-18 June) devoted entirely to the curvy world. It will be an international showcase for all the most important players in the curvy universe – from the best and brightest plus-size clothing brands to bloggers and independent designers, from internet sites to the most important testimonials in the field.

The idea is for FFFW to be an opportunity to create a network for everyone working in the sector, a window for people to meet and exchange ideas about the latest developments in the plus-size world. The event will be run by DeVoe Signature Events (DSE), a leading company for more than a decade in the curvy world. The shared goal of everyone taking part is to have plus-size fashion represented within the official New York Fashion Week, so that there is no longer a need for a separate event. For the curvy world, this will be the real, long-awaited breakthrough, one that is greatly deserved.
